The Center for Teaching and Academic Innovation (CTAI) serves as a central resource for Montclair State University faculty to develop, refine, and innovate their teaching. CTAI offers support through practical guidance, opportunities for peer exchange, and access to pedagogical and technological resources.
Some of CTAI’s resources, services, and programs were previously overseen by the Office for Faculty Excellence. This page consolidates all teaching-related resources and opportunities formerly hosted by the OFE, to help faculty with this organizational transition. To view all CTAI resources, please check their main page >> . Please reach out to CTAI at ctai@montclair.edu or OFE at faculty@montclair.edu with any questions.

The Dean’s Council and the Provost approved these Principles in April 2021. To learn more, please visit the Teaching Principles’ main page: Montclair State University’s Teaching Principles.
