Students Facilitate Wipro PD
Math Ed PhD candidates Ursula Derios and John O’Meara facilitated professional development workshops as part of the Wipro Science Education Fellowship teacher leadership program

The program was held for science and mathematics teachers on October 12, 2023. They, along with TETD doctoral students Shanna Anderson and Tim Aberle, engaged K12 teachers from seven local school districts in explorations of the different ways in which STEM teachers can engage in teacher leadership. The PD workshops are a part of the Wipro SEF program led by mathematics education professor Dr. Munakata and TETD professors Drs. Monica Taylor and Emily Klein. It is currently in its 11th year of implementation.
