Weekly “Salon de Conversation” in Schmitt Hall 2nd floor atrium (Manhattan side) on Wednesdays at 2:30. From games in French to quick on-campus excursions, snacks, and yoga, this is a free and easy way for those interested in practicing French to meet one another and learn new vocabulary. Venez nombreux!

Mon., Oct. 21: “Food Trends to Watch in 2019 and Beyond” with Emmanuel Laroche – V.P. Marketing & Consumer Insights at Symrise. University Hall, room 2006 at 2:30 pm. Host of the podcast “Flavors Unknown.”

Tues., Oct. 23: Temporary Arts Festival. Chainsaws! Ice sculptures! Word games in French and German! Student Center Quad, 10am-12:30pm.

Sat., Oct. 26: “The Decorated Word.” Field trip to the Metropolitan Museum (NYC) to see the exhibit and eat French food. Contact pliniog1 at montclair.edu for more information.
