The University Fellows Coordination Team is responsible for oversight, supervision, coordination, communication, and maintenance of the University Fellows Program. Spread out amongst the participating Colleges and Schools, this team is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and supervising the approximate 100 University Fellows student leaders campus-wide for the entirety of an academic year.
Each participating College or School selects a professional staff member to act as their University Fellows Coordinator, who acts as both the supervisor for those Fellows and as a committee member who makes decisions and plans for the maintenance of the program. The University Fellows Coordinator supervises the Fellows in their respective College or School and acts as a liaison between the Program and the instructors of their GNED 199 – New Student Seminar class sections.
Together, the Coordination Team schedules in-service trainings and monthly all-team meetings for the students, held during periodic common hours each semester, and attends regular committee meetings to ensure the Program is running efficiently and effectively throughout the year.
