The Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer and, in the absence of the President, serves as acting President. The Provost provides academic leadership and has overall responsibility for academic program development and faculty. As head of the Division of Academic Affairs, the Provost oversees the University library, colleges, schools and administrative units listed below.
