CHSS Launches Policy Studies Major

State Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin, Assemblywoman Mila Jasey and Assemblyman Thomas Giblin visited campus last week to help launch the College of Humanities and Social Sciences’ new Policy Studies major, with Coughlin participating in a salon-style conversation with Political Science Department Chairperson Brigid Callahan Harrison.

RYTE Institute co-directors and CEHS professors Miriam Linver and Jennifer Brown Urban received a $150,000 grant from the Kern Family Foundation to support their research into factors that influence character development in adolescents.
