Career Services at Montclair State University provides you with individual career counseling at all stages of your career development. Typical counseling issues concern choice of major, occupation or graduate school, career change and help with the job hunt.

Testing is also available, by appointment, through the Center. Students first meet with a counselor to determine which testing instrument might be useful. We offer the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. After taking the instruments, a subsequent appointment is scheduled to go over results. Please call 973-655-5194 if you are interested in making a testing appointment.
Drop-In is also available at the Center in Stone Hall for all students who have a quick question and don't need a regular appointment. Each student is seen for about 15 minutes on a "first come-first served" basis.
