Internal Awards
THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR AN FY2014 SEPARATELY BUDGETED RESEARCH, STUDENT FACULTY SCHOLARSHIP, SUMMER GRANT PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT, OR UNIVERSITY DISTINGUISHED SCHOLAR INTERNAL AWARD IS FEBRUARY 8, 2013.
For FY2014, the University will hold another open round of Separately Budgeted Research, Student Faculty Scholarship, Summer Grant Proposal Development and University Distinguished Scholar awards, pending the availability of funds.
Please note that past awardees who did not submit a final report for a past award are not eligible to apply. Past recipients of the Summer Grant Proposal Development (SGPD) award who did not submit a grant proposal to an external agency are not eligible to apply for a SGPD award.

Separately Budgeted Research awards support faculty projects involving scholarly, creative, and/or research efforts.

Student Faculty Scholarship awards support projects which involve students working cooperatively with faculty.

Summer Grant Proposal Development awards provide funds for faculty to work during the summer on developing grant proposals to be submitted to foundations or government agencies for programs, research, training or creative activity.

University Distinguished Scholar is a program to recognize faculty with a distinguished record of scholarly or creative achievement. The award provides twelve (12) credit hours of released time to pursue a scholarly or creative project which will result in a significant contribution to the field.
