Faculty Research Mentoring Program

Faculty Research Mentoring Program

Sponsored and administered by the Office of Sponsored Programs, the Faculty Research Mentoring Program is designed to foster the exchange of ideas and best practices in funded research. More specifically, we hope the Faculty Research Mentoring Program will provide:

  • support and guidance to faculty members primarily in the areas of grant preparation and submission; and
  • a professional and confidential relationship where ideas can be exchanged, feedback can be provided and skills can be enhanced.

The Program will support two Montclair State University faculty members—one with significant extramural funding experience (mentor), and one tenure-track faculty member who wishes to be mentored. As a culminating requirement of the award, the pair will submit a full, competitive research proposal with the mentee as the principal investigator.

APPLICATIONS FOR FY2023 FACULTY RESEARCH MENTORING PROGRAM ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED.

Beginning in August 2021, the internal award competitions are now managed in InfoReady Review. Once at the site, users should log-in using their MSU username and password. The open competitions will be listed on the home page.
