Admissions Ambassadors

Welcome to the Undergraduate Admissions Ambassadors’ homepage!

We are generally the first and often the only contact prospective students and their families have when interacting with our University.  This interaction often gives them their only impression of Montclair State University.  We are the face of Montclair State University.

Ever wondered who the Admissions Ambassadors really were? Want to know what we do?

As Ambassadors of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Montclair State University, we are part of an elite group of students whose goal is to provide the best possible experience to our guests while visiting our campus. We play a major part in the University’s efforts to recruit a diverse student body which will benefit from our comprehensive undergraduate curricula and rich campus life community.

As Ambassadors, we assist prospective students and their families in their college search process when it pertains to Montclair State University. In an effort to present all that Montclair State has to offer, we lead daily campus tours for prospective students and their families. Additionally, we assist the professional staff of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by facilitating campus wide open house programs, accepted student days, webinars, virtual tours, and a variety of other on and off campus programs. We answer questions and assist families with tour/event registrations over the phone via the tour hotline. We assist prospective students with the application process and assist the Admissions staff with the processing of incoming/outgoing mail, and by entering prospective student’s information into our system.
