Course content and schedules will be geared toward working professionals who hold bachelor’s degrees and want to gain credentials in information technology, those seeking additional coursework for professional growth and career advancement and individuals who want to enter the rapidly evolving field of information technology. The program is designed to equip students with a managerial perspective of how to implement technology in any organization.

Information Technology Boot Camp

Are you already working in the field of Information Technology but want to enhance your credentials in order to advance your career? Have you been thinking about making a change into the exciting, cutting-edge field of IT, but are not sure how to begin?  Montclair State University is now offering graduate-level, summer “boot camp” courses in computer science. The immersive, fully online program can be completed during two, eight-week summer sessions. Open to Montclair State and visiting students from other institutions, the computer science foundation courses will give students a sense of what it is like to work in the field of information technology.

If you are considering a graduate degree, you have the option to complete this coursework online during the summer prior to the fall start of your master’s degree coursework. The department welcomes students from different disciplines and students who have not been involved with computing in some time but want to come back to the field.
