Mosaic Women

Mosaic Women is a support group where students who identify as Women of Color come together to share their experiences, affirm and celebrate one another, and assist each other in obtaining their personal, interpersonal, academic, and professional goals. Participants will explore their creativity and engage in DIY crafts as tools for self-care, stress management, and emotional expression.
Women of Color are a mosaic of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, as well as sexual orientations.
Themes include: self-esteem, confidence, valuing our voices, managing stress, intersecting identities, relationships, body image, imposter issues, family issues, self-care, overcoming obstacles, helping each other rise and succeed, and coping with racial and intergenerational trauma, microaggressions, and social stressors.

This group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 3 to 4 p.m., starting Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

Email Dr. Sudha Wadhwani at wadhwanis@montclair.edu if you would like to schedule a pre-group meeting. We ask that you make a commitment to attend weekly.
