Analyzing all the ways media can be disrupted

Posted in: Uncategorized

We had a great event last night featuring a blockbuster panel of media experts: Jeff Jarvis, Paul Maidment, John Mooney, Steven Waldman, Jack Smith IV and Merrill Brown. They discussed and debated the ways the media industry has been disrupted, and what the future might hold for various aspects of the industry. We co-hosted the event with Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media and Center for Cooperative Media. Thank you to Merrill, chairperson and director of the School of Communication and Media, and Ju-Don Marshall Roberts, director of the Center for Cooperative Media, for their efforts on organizing and promoting this event.

Thank you to Ju-Don and Debbie Galant, director of NJ News Commons, for all their tweets from the event.
