Cessation Groups

Throughout the year we offer cessation groups for students, faculty and staff looking for support as they quit smoking. Groups meet once a week for four weeks and cover a variety of topics and discuss challenges. Groups are free of charge but there is limited space!

In September, 2020, the University will be 100% smoke, tobacco and vapor product free, but in the meantime, there are designated smoking areas on campus. Current state law and University policy also prohibits smoking and/or use of tobacco, vapor or similar products inside any campus building.

Quit Centers

Through funding from the New Jersey Department of Health, New Jersey residents now have access to 11 Quit Centers throughout the state. These quit centers provide residents of New Jersey with the resources to stop or reduce their tobacco use, including free smoking cessation services and nicotine replacement patches.
