The use of microcredentials (skill-based badges or certificates focused on specific competencies) is on the rise, often obtained to demonstrate mastery of a desired skillset for a particular industry. How can we acknowledge this trend and integrate it into our instruction? Join us for a conversation about the benefits of microcredentialing in online courses and how they are being leveraged at the Feliciano School of Business by Professor Manveer Mann.
Dr. Manveer Mann is an associate professor of Marketing at Montclair State University. She has over five years of experience in higher education teaching in areas including international business, marketing, and retailing. Before joining Montclair State University, she was an assistant professor at Old Dominion University, Virginia. She received a PhD from Auburn University, Alabama. Her research interests span a number of topics in marketing including consumer behavior, social responsibility, and retailing.
