Instructional Technology and Design Services offers special events throughout the year, in addition to regularly scheduled conferences and workshops.

Preparing for Upcoming Semesters and Sessions

We offer faculty development events prior to the Fall/Spring semesters and Winter/Summer sessions to help you get ready to teach. These sessions are applicable to teaching in person, online, or hybrid. Participants will have access to a Canvas community with session resources, and video recordings after the event.

Fridays with ITDS

Fridays with ITDS, a bi-weekly interview series in a casual, informal virtual learning space spotlighting the unique contributions faculty, staff, and leadership are providing to teaching and learning at Montclair State University. Conducted live on Zoom, each conversation will open with a 30-minute interview around a particular topic and then open for questions.

Assessment Practices Series

This monthly event will focus on a variety of approaches to assess student learning. How do we know if students are achieving our courses’ learning goals? What assessment practices and technologies are most effective to support student learning? This series will include workshops, presentations, and shared best practices from the university community.
