Annual Summer Institute 2022 – June 8th & 9th

The 2022 Summer Institute for Teaching and Learning is co-hosted by Instructional Technology and Design Services (ITDS) and the Office for Faculty Advancement (OFA). This virtual faculty development event will kick off with keynote speaker Claire Howell Major, a Professor of Higher Education and Chair of the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies at the University of Alabama. This event will also include MSU faculty presentations, instructional technology workshops, and more.

Day 1 – Wednesday, June 8th, 8:30am – 3:00pm: will include sessions focused on active learning, teaching pandemic-affected students, and more;
Day 2 – Thursday, June 9th, 8:30am – 3:00pm: will include sessions focused on course design, teaching math, polling, grading and supporting students.
