We offer events and workshops to assist faculty with many aspects of teaching. Our workshops cover Canvas, course design, pedagogical strategies to implement in the classroom, online, or when teaching hybrid, and much more. We also offer one-on-one consultations.
Our team offers a number of facilitated courses throughout the year offered in an online, asynchronous format. Our goal is to create and provide courses that meet the needs and demands of our growing faculty audience.
Fridays with ITDS is a bi-weekly interview series that spotlights the unique contributions University faculty, staff, and leadership are providing to teaching and learning at Montclair State University. Conducted live on Zoom, each interview focuses on a particular topic and then opens for questions and discussion.
Our annual conferences showcase best practices on how to implement effective instructional strategies, facilitate learner-centered interaction and collaboration, and create objective-oriented assessments to enhance teaching and learning.
We offer special events throughout the year. Our Preparing for the Fall Semester, Preparing for Summer Session, and Preparing for Winter Session pre-semester events are designed to help you prepare your courses for the upcoming terms.
