The Library has museum passes available for our students, faculty and staff, alumni, as well as the local community to enjoy. Details and instructions for making a reservation with a museum will be provided to you by the Library after you complete the Library’s reservation form.
NOTE FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS: If you have not borrowed any item University Libraries before, in order to expedite the process, please fill out the University Libraries Community Borrower Registration Form. A “community member” is anyone not affiliated with the university (e.g. does not have a NetID).

Important Reminders
- Please double check the museum website for availability on the day you plan to visit. Some museums are closed on certain days of the week, and there are scheduled closings for holidays and special events.
- Please bring your Montclair ID along with your borrowed museum pass to the museum.
- The Bloomfield College library is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Please select a weekday for pickup if picking up from Bloomfield.

The Frick Collection is an art museum, established in 1935, known for master paintings and outstanding examples of European sculpture and decorative arts, primarily from the Renaissance to the early 20th century. In 1943, Frank Lloyd Wright was asked by Hilla Rebay, art advisor to Solomon R. Guggenheim, to design a new building to house Guggenheim’s collection of non-objective art. The Solomon R. The Montclair History Center is a museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Montclair. The center focuses on educating the community about local history through exhibits, as well as various programs including guided house tours, walking tours of local areas, cooking classes, educational events, and community farm programs.
Established in 1965, the campus includes three historic buildings: the Crane House and Historic YWCA (1796), the Nathaniel Crane House (1818), and the Clark House (1894). These sites offer a glimpse into the lives of the diverse communities that have shaped Montclair over the years. Through its efforts the Montclair History Center fosters a deeper appreciation for the past and its impact on the present.

Reserving tickets online is encouraged. Please navigate to the Get Tickets page on the museum website and select free tickets (2 adults and all children 17 and under). You will present the member pass upon entry.
