Key Outputs and Resources
- Definitional Frameworks for AI Literacy, Competency, and Fluency.
The AI Fluency & Competency Development, in collaboration with the AI Curricular Development Subcommittee, developed these definitions to guide faculty, students, and staff. While these definitions go through institutional review, members of the University community can follow the link above to familiarize themselves with the final draft (*Montclair NetID required.) - AI Offerings for Professional Development.
This list includes internally and externally facilitated opportunities currently available to Montclair faculty, staff, and administrators to build capacity for engaging with AI in support of operational excellence. If you are offering an AI professional development opportunity, please share it with Patrick Scioscia to have it included on this list.
Work in Progress
- Investigating what baseline level of AI literacy and competency should be expected of university employees.
- Reviewing the current level of AI awareness and use across the Montclair community.
- Developing recommendations for resources and professional development that support responsible and effective use of AI.
