Featured Awards – April 2016

Yvonne Gindt (Chemistry and Biochemistry, CSAM) received a $10,961 subaward from Temple University/NASA for the fourth year of “DNA Repair Under Extreme Conditions,” which studies DNA repair by characterizing and comparing photolyases cloned from a hyperthermophile and a psychrophile to investigate the development of key biological processes relevant to the origin of life on Earth and the search for life elsewhere.
