This USDA-funded project will analyze how farmers markets in urban communities could play a role in improving both farmer livelihoods and the nutrition of low-income consumers with limited access to fresh fruits and vegetables, in addition to strengthening food and agricultural research, education, and outreach through community engagement and Service-Learning at Montclair State University.‌

Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation

The Italian Program in the Department of Spanish and Italian will use this award to create a capstone course in audiovisual translation to prepare students to embark on careers in translation for the creative and cultural industries through professional projects developed with partners from the private and public sectors, with a focus on the internationalization of Italian culture.
