In collaboration with OneMontclair and Evisions, Inc., the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is excited to announce the availability of Cayuse 424!
Cayuse 424 provides an industry-leading cloud-based solution for proposal development and submission to Grants.gov as well as automated electronic proposal routing. It is touted nationwide by researchers and administrative staff for its ease of use and “user-friendly” interface.
Over 98% of Grants.gov funding opportunities are available on Cayuse 424. Initially, we expect that faculty and staff will submit most federal Grants.gov submissions through Cayuse 424 in close collaboration with OSP’s Pre-Award staff. Cayuse 424 fully integrates with NSF FastLane and we strongly encourage NSF researchers to become familiar with Cayuse 424, as it provides similar ease of use and some automated features (e.g., budget building) that FastLane does not provide. NSF researchers who prefer to use FastLane directly may continue to do so.
We encourage you to log into the new system, take a look around, and see all that it has to offer!
Cayuse 424 is accessible using your Montclair State University NetID and a compatible, correctly configured web browser (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 are recommended) at:
If you are new to the University and do not have a Cayuse 424 user account, please contact OSP.
You can individually request training from OSP pre-award staff at any time. Workshops will be announced in the near future.
Also, a wealth of training materials can be found on Evisions’ Support Portal. OSP has also created a Cayuse 424 Quick Guide and a bookmarked Cayuse 424 User Manual that provides Montclair State-specific instructions. More training materials will be uploaded soon.
