Women's Entrepreneurship Week 2016
Women Entrepreneurship Week becomes international movement
Organizations in eight countries have committed to holding Women Entrepreneurship Week events in 2016, making the third annual WEW celebration an international movement. Universities and organizations in the following countries plan to hold at least one WEW event sometime during the week of Oct. 17-22, 2016: Australia, Austria, China, Greece, India, Thailand, United States and Vietnam. A dozen universities in New Jersey, in addition to Montclair State, also plan to hold a Women Entrepreneurship Week event this year. We expect the list of participating organizations to continue to grow. Read more about why overseas organizations want to get involved with WEW.
Want to be part of 2016 Women Entrepreneurship Week?
All you have to do is hold an event related to women entrepreneurs at your college/university or nonprofit during Oct. 17-22, 2016. There is no cost/fee to be involved. Each university or nonprofit has the flexibility to design its own event. A program can be a big public event or it can be a small gathering of students listening to a woman entrepreneur. The only requirements are that the event focus on women entrepreneurs, and be held sometime during Oct. 17-22, 2016. If your university or nonprofit schedules a WEW event, please contact email@example.com so your event can be added to this website.
Women Entrepreneurship Week would not be possible without the generous support of the following sponsors.
