Montclair State University’s Department of Art and Design invites you to the Juried Department-Wide Exhibition at Finley Gallery. Students’ artwork will be displayed from January 16th through February 15, 2024, with the opening reception on Wednesday, January 31st from 3pm-5pm. This will be a great opportunity to meet fellow art students and engage in conversation about their work.
The exhibition represents a culmination of last semester’s work from lower level classes such as Figure Drawing, Beginning Painting, Printmaking, Digital Photo, Surface, Time, Objects in Clay, and Intro to Illustration. And upper level classes such as Darkroom Photography, Commercial Photography, Integrative Studio I, 3-D Extended Media, Creating a Graphic Novel, Ceramic Digital Prototyping, and Illustration Studio. The exhibit will include drawings, paintings, digital illustrations, printmaking prints, photographs, digital media, videos, sculpture, magazines, and more.
