Scholarship Winners Exhibition

The Department of Art & Design is proud to present the Scholarship Winners Exhibition, showcasing exceptional student talent across Visual Arts, Product Design, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design programs. The exhibition will be presented in Finley Gallery from November 8th through November 18th, with an opening reception on Wednesday, November 13th, from 2:00-5:00 PM.

Finley Gallery will showcase a curated selection of works that highlight the artistry, hard work, and commitment of these emerging creators, providing an inspiring glimpse into the diverse ideas and approaches shaping our students’ practices.

We invite the public to join us for a reception at Finley Gallery on Wednesday, November 13th, to celebrate with us as we honor the accomplishments of these talented makers and the bright futures ahead of them.

Exhibiting artists:

  • Jill Ribinsky (Illustration), winner of the Dingler Scholarship
  • Palina Kavalchuk (Illustration), winner of the Anne Chapman Scholarship, the College of the Arts Advisory Board Scholarship, and the Ina Glob Endowed Scholarship
  • Allahjah Young-Bey (Visual Arts), winner of the Donald and Judy Miller Scholarship
  • Maya Chu (Visual Communication Design), winner of both the John and Rose Cali Scholarship the College of the Arts Advisory Board Scholarship
  • Sophia Kim (Visual Arts / Art Education), winner of the Ina Glob Endowed Scholarship.
  • Talya Kozlovski (Illustration), winner of the Ina Golub Endowed Scholarship
  • Brett Diese (Visual Communication Design), winner of the Cento Amic Scholarship
  • Ashley Esperanza Ortiz (Illustration), winner of the Cento Amic Scholarship
  • Jessie Crowell, awarded Outstanding Student in Art Education
  • Meghan Brennan, Student Ambassador for Integrative Studio I, also recognized for her Outstanding Thesis Project
  • Bralen Jones, Student Ambassador for Integrative Studio I, also recognized for Outstanding Work in Integrative Studio II
  • Grace Whitteaker, recognized for Outstanding Work in Integrative Studio I
  • Dora Provenzano, recognized for Outstanding Work in Integrative Studio I
