This STEM-Designated program prepares you to analyze and extract meaningful insights from complex data. The curriculum integrates courses in mathematics, statistics, computer science, and data modeling to equip you with the skills needed for careers in analytics, data engineering, and quantitative research.

You’ll explore subjects such as machine learning, data mining, and data visualization, while building a strong foundation in programming and statistical thinking. The program emphasizes hands-on learning through projects, internships, and applied coursework, helping you develop both technical expertise and critical reasoning abilities so that you can apply data science principles to real-world problems. Minor in Data Science

Get equipped with core computational and analytical skills to work with data in your major field of study. Designed for students in diverse disciplines, this minor introduces you to statistical methods, data manipulation, and programming fundamentals that are highly valued in today’s data-driven world.

Through courses in statistics, computer science, and data analysis, you’ll gain experience in evaluating and interpreting real-world datasets. This minor strengthens your quantitative reasoning and complements majors in business, science, health, and the social sciences — opening pathways to roles in data analytics, research, and policy analysis.
