On and Off-Campus Transportation Options

Accessible Transportation Support

Montclair State University is committed to making campus transportation accessible for all students and visitors. All campus buses and shuttles are ADA/PWD accessible, and additional transportation support is available for those with temporary or long-term mobility needs.

Students who require curb-to-curb transportation may request complimentary shuttle service to and from classes, meals, and other University-related activities. This service is designed to help students navigate campus comfortably and confidently.

Campus Shuttle

The free campus shuttle system connects key areas of campus and nearby transit locations, making it easy to get where you need to go — no car required. With frequent daytime service and evening options, the shuttle helps students move safely and efficiently throughout the day.

Off-Campus & Shopper Shuttles

The shuttle doesn’t just stop at campus. Transportation services offer special off-campus routes that make everyday errands easier — including shuttle service to nearby grocery stores, Target  and the Bloomfield Campus. It’s one more way we help students stay connected to what they need, on and off campus.

Train & Bus Access

Getting to our campus is easy, with an NJ Transit train station and bus stop located right on campus. This makes commuting simple and gives students flexible, car-free ways to get to campus.
