Your Home Base for Ambition
Living on campus at Montclair State University gives you more than just a place to stay—it gives you a community where you can truly belong. Montclair offers a variety of housing options to fit your lifestyle, including apartment-style, suite-style and traditional residence halls.
Find Your People
For students looking to level up their experience, we offer Living Learning Communities (LLCs). These special interest housing options allow you to live alongside peers who share your academic goals, passions or interests. By bridging the gap between the classroom and your front door, LLCs make it easier than ever to build lasting connections and reach your goals together.
What’s it like to live on campus?
Here, a few of our students share insights about living on the Montclair campus.
“Living on campus truly feels like living in your own little world with friends.”
Navila Gomez

“Before coming to Montclair I heard it was a suitcase school, meaning everyone leaves on the weekend and there’s nothing to do, but there is always something to do for people still on campus.”
