Tell Stories That Make an Impact

The Creative Writing minor gives you space to develop your voice while exploring fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and more. Workshops and literature courses let you practice your craft, experiment with new styles, and get feedback from faculty and peers.

You’ll learn how to create compelling narratives, refine your storytelling skills, and understand the techniques behind powerful writing. This minor is perfect for students interested in careers in media, publishing, or any field where strong communication and creativity are an asset.
