Enter Montclair’s Neuroinclusive Practice and Leadership Certificate — a first-of-its-kind program designed in direct response to what major employers, managers, and community leaders told us they actually need.

What is Neuroinclusive Practice and Leadership?

Neurodiversity refers to natural variations in how people think, process, and experience the world. Leveraging the talents and skills of everyone in your workforce — including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more — can significantly improve a company’s results. 

Neuroinclusive practice means shifting the question from “how do we fix the person?” to “how do we fix the environment?” It’s about intentionally designing workspaces, policies, and leadership approaches that support—not just accommodate—neurodivergent people. 

Through three courses (9 credits total), this certificate gives you the tools to lead that shift. You’ll learn what true inclusion looks like, explore how neurodivergent-affirming practices differ from the norm, and gain strategies to apply in your workplace or client-facing role — whether you're in business, healthcare, education, justice, or any space where people matter. This is for professionals who are ready to lead with equity, challenge the status quo, and tap into the full power of human neurodiversity.
