Join us on Saturday, September 27, for Homecoming 2025. We invite you back to campus for a day filled with fun, food and football!
“We are excited to announce that the schedule of activities for Homecoming 2025 is set! We look forward to welcoming you back to campus!” says Jeanne Marano, assistant vice president for Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement. “There will be fun for everyone!”

Start your day with a visit to the Alumni Welcome Tent in front of Cole Hall. Check in, pick up your free alumni gift and learn about the day’s activities. Join in the street fair festivities on Chapin Drive and meet members of the Alumni Affinity Groups:
- Black Alumni Advisory Council (BAAC)
- Bloomfield College Alumni Network
- Hispanic/Latiné Alumni Network (HLAN)
- Recent Alumni Network (RAN)
- Women’s Initiative Network (WIN)
Enjoy entertainment in the Amphitheatre including performances by Players Variety Show and the Student Showcase. See the amazing changes to campus on a walking tour. Don’t miss the Alumni BBQ! Then, at 5:00 p.m., it’s game time! Cheer the Red Hawks to victory over Wilkes University!
Whether you’re reconnecting with old friends or making new memories, it’s the perfect time to celebrate what makes Montclair State University so special. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

Don’t miss the Homecoming events at Bloomfield College the night before on Saturday, September 26! The day will kick off with a Women’s Alumni Basketball Game followed by Men’s—cheer on your fellow alumni as they return to the court! Gather with classmates at the all alumni reception, and join in celebrating our reunion classes ending in 0s and 5s.
On the Montclair Campus on Saturday, September 27, join fellow graduates for the signature alumni event of the day, the Alumni Barbecue from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the Historic Quad (area outside Freeman, Russ and Chapin Halls). Enjoy a BBQ lunch, craft beer from local Cricket Hill Brewery and Montclair Brewery, music, games, fun for the kids and more!
- Cost: $25.00* per person, $15.00 for kids (12 and under) (under 2 free).
- Pre-Registration Required.
Walk-in cost: $35 per person. - *Includes food, drinks and a $5 gift to The Fund for Montclair State.
- Must be 21 or older and provide valid photo ID to consume alcohol.

Parking is Free!
Complimentary parking is available in the Red Hawk Parking Deck and all surface lots. Let’s keep our school spirit soaring! Come back to campus and join fellow Red Hawks for one or all of the many opportunities to connect.
