Commencement 2024
12:30 p.m. Meet at the Red Hawk Parking Deck on campus, Outside Level 2
12:45 p.m. Bus departs campus promptly for Prudential Center, Newark, NJ

As graduates of the Class of 1974, you are invited to lead the midday procession of candidates for baccalaureate degree conferment during the University’s 2024 Commencement Ceremony. You will be garbed in academic regalia, and be given a commemorative golden anniversary stole to keep as a memento. A light lunch will be served at Prudential prior to the Ceremony. The Commencement Ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m.

Reunion Celebration

Join us on campus for a trip down memory lane, reconnecting with old friends, and reliving the moments that define our shared journey.

Campus Shuttle Tour
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Take a guided shuttle tour of campus and relive your college days as you see the many changes since your time as a student. The tour will conclude with a stop at the Book Store. This will be a great opportunity to pick up Montclair State University attire or keepsakes.

Hotel Accommodations
The University has secured a special rate at a local hotel for our 50th reunion. The Best Western Fairfield Executive Inn located at 216-234 Route 46 East in Fairfield, NJ, is offering a room rate of $148 per night (breakfast included) for reunion guests. Please call the hotel directly before April 24 at 973-575-7700 and reference Montclair State University Reunion Class of 1974.
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from campus at designated times.
