Meet Cali’s 2026–27 Artist-in-Residence, Gabriel Kahane
A singer-songwriter, composer and storyteller, Kahane is known for music that moves freely between the concert hall and contemporary songwriting. His work explores complex social and political themes with nuance and humanity, and he has collaborated with artists including Paul Simon, Phoebe Bridgers, Sufjan Stevens, Caroline Shaw and the Danish String Quartet.
