Pre-Medical Program
If medical, dental or health profession school is in your future, Montclair’s Pre-Medical Program can set you on the right path. You’ll receive personalized guidance to help you choose the right courses and build a strong foundation for the MCAT, DAT or GRE. You’ll benefit from advising and coaching designed to make you a competitive applicant for medical or health profession schools. Our focus is on helping you make smart academic decisions and preparing you for success beyond your time at the University.
As a Pre-Medical Program student, you’ll take part in exciting and valuable experiences each semester, including conversations with medical professionals, visits to health-care facilities, and study strategy and career workshops. All the while, you’ll be developing vital professional skills that will support your future in a health-care career.
You can be part of the Pre-Medical Program no matter what your major is, but students interested in medical careers should take coursework aligned with the natural and behavioral sciences. These courses will prepare you for the MCAT and DAT, and are required by many medical and health profession schools.
