Fall 2026 Music Therapy Day
Interested in learning more about a career in music therapy? Spend the morning with us at the John J. Cali School of Music and get an inside look at the field, the work of professional music therapists and Montclair State University’s Music Therapy programs.
During Music Therapy Day, you’ll learn what music therapists do, see video examples of music therapy in action and explore how music is used to support people across a wide range of clinical and community settings. You’ll also hear about the undergraduate and graduate Music Therapy programs at Montclair State, meet faculty, ask questions and tour the Cali School of Music.

Music Therapy Day, Thursday, November 5, 2026, will be held in-person at Chapin Hall (home of the Cali School of Music) on the Montclair State University campus. Chapin Hall is the first building on the right when you come in the main entrance to campus. Parking is in the Red Hawk Deck which is located very close to Chapin Hall. Parking passes will be provided for guests who park in the Red Hawk Deck.
