A Message from University Police Regarding Traffic

Posted in: Facilities Staff News & Events, Parking News

The first few weeks of each semester presents challenges as community members become acclimated to the pedestrian routes, new roadway designs and parking accessibility. The Montclair State University Police Department is working diligently to address traffic congestion on the campus roadways during peak times throughout the day and early evening. We know quite often it is frustrating sitting in traffic for extended periods of time and want to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.

It is recommended that you give yourself adequate amounts of time for parking and shuttle use, use public transportation as much as possible, and locate parking areas that may not be as congested as those closest to the academic core.

If you have concerns please feel free to email this department at msupolice@mail.montclair.edu

Thank you,

Chief Paul M. Cell
