Biography

I am originally from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, where I studied law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. I earned my Ph.D. in Law, with a specialization in Civil Law, from Aix-Marseille Université in France (then known as the Université de droit, d'économie et des sciences d'Aix-Marseille).

For many years, I practiced law in the Dominican Republic and taught Law of Obligations and Private Law at my alma mater, the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. At the same time, I published several works in my area of specialization.

I have been living in the United States for several years, where I have devoted myself to teaching Spanish, my second academic passion.
