  • October is open enrollment month for benefits. Be sure to register for your 2023 medical and dental insurance and the medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts.
  • With Thanksgiving break and the winter closing approaching, Human Resources asks all employees to review the instructions for timekeeping.
  • Looking for a new lunch spot? The Student Center dining room will officially reopen for regular lunch service beginning October 12.
  • The 9th Annual Women Entrepreneurship Week event (in-person and virtual) is on October 19, 1-3 p.m. Registration for attending virtually is still available.
  • The University has submitted its 2021 report to the U.S. Department of Education, in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Safety Policies and Campus Crime Statistics Act. View the Annual Report.
  • As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, a reminder that the University’s Employee Assistance Program provides free support services for all employees and their families that include short-term counseling and referrals if necessary.
  • If you or a loved one is experiencing a mental health crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 988, the new nationwide 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline for free, confidential support, 24/7.

  • To the staff of Counseling and Psychological Services and the Office of Health Promotion for hosting a series of events each day of Mental Health Awareness Week.
  • To Andrew Mees and Elyse Toribio and graduate student intern Rosaria Lo Presti (Media Relations), whose work in placing 46 pieces of earned news coverage in September reached an estimated total of just over 326 million people, bringing the total potential reach (TPR) of coverage of the University this year to 3.72 billion, exceeding last year’s record total of 3.5 billion.
