Art, theatre, dance and music can open the door to countless creative careers, and Montclair State University's Art Days are designed to help you explore the possibilities. Participate in workshops and learn from Montclair students and faculty what studying Acting, Musical Theatre or Theatre Production is like. All events are free.

Art & Design Days

Art & Design Days provide you with the chance to meet current Art & Design students and faculty, tour creative studios and galleries on campus and learn all you want about the many opportunities awaiting you in the Department of Art and Design. Whether you have questions about animation, design or photography, we have answers and can’t wait to meet you!

Dance Days

On Dance Days, meet Department of Theatre and Dance professors and students who speak your language and move to the same beat. Pick up a new dance technique by participating in workshops, learn about the audition process at a panel and enjoy a concert featuring our award-winning student performers. You’ll also be exposed to choreography by faculty and guest artists. Learn about the many Dance opportunities awaiting you at Montclair and how to make your aspirations a reality. 

The next Dance Day is set for Friday, November 13, 2026.

Theatre Days

Theatre Days offer you an opportunity to learn about Theatre programs at Montclair. Hear from our professional faculty and current students about pathways to becoming an actor, dancer, educator or other theatre professional. Get a real life feel for the stage by participating in workshops, learn how to audition and study your craft so that you may build a life in the arts. Registration is available for individuals and groups.
