Quantitative Obesity Research

Center student, mathematics major Mirna Halawani was judged to be one of the best in the field by the Obesity Society’s e-Heath/m-Health section (EMS) and has been selected as one of 6 winners in the annual EMS Poster Competition. As an awardee, Ms. Halawani will be distinguished by a ribbon attached to her poster that will identify it as an EMS Poster Competition winner. Ms. Halawani will receive special recognition at the annual meeting of the eHealth/mHealth Section on Tuesday, November 4th at 6:30-8:30pm in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Her poster was titled Do The Obese Eat Faster Than the Lean?
