Math Education Student to Present at Casabona Event

Undergraduate Mathematics with K-6 Teaching Certification major Gianna Fazzini was nominated to represent the Department and present her original research at the Casabona Future Scientists Program on Wednesday, November 10 between 2-5:30pm in the CELS atrium. Gianna will give a poster presentation and short oral presentation about her mathematics education research entitled “To Teach Procedures or Concepts? That is the Question: Pre-service Elementary Teachers’ Valuation of Mathematical Knowledge.” Gianna will be the first mathematics education student to present at the Casabona event. Please come out to CELS on November 10 and show your support for Gianna!
