MSU Research Team Presents at AERA Conference on Mathematical Reasoning

Examining Students' Progression of Variational, Covariational, and Multivariational Reasoning

Doctoral students Toni York, Erell Germia, and Youngjun Kim presented along with their supervisor Dr. Panorkou at the annual conference of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). The presentation focused on describing the progression of sixth-grade students’ variational, covariational, and multivariational reasoning as they engaged with digital simulations examining various scientific phenomena.
