Doctoral Students Travel to Finland
Mathematics Education doctoral students are exploring Inclusive Education practices in Finnish schools

Erin Pomponio, Meimee Persau, and Helene Leonard are on the 10-day study abroad trip that’s part of their summer course. Students enrolled in TETD 817 and ECSE 575 students got to attend the trip.
Students will visit schools in Helsinki and Oulu, attending a seminar with the Finnish Society for Disability Research, and meeting with teacher education students at Helsinki University. Please join the Mathematics Department in wishing these students well on this exciting opportunity!
