Montclair and Nexus Licensing Group Announce Strategic Partnership
The exclusive partnership agreement names Nexus as the University’s licensing agency of record and will help Montclair expand its brand reach and revenue potential through traditional retail and eCommerce channels.

Board of Trustees Meeting
The Board of Trustees will hold a meeting on Tuesday, July 15 at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will be conducted on Montclair campus, University Hall Conference Center, 7th Floor and virtually via Zoom.
Temporary Road Closure to Lot 24
Due to electrical work at the Montclair Ice Arena, the upper access road to Lot 24 from Yogi Berra Drive will be closed to allow for underground trenching for the new electrical feeders. The upper lot entrance will be closed from Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18.
New Director of Financial Aid Joins Montclair
Tarik Boyd has been named Director of Financial Aid in the Enrollment Management Division. With over 17 years of experience in student financial aid, Tarik brings a strong background in enrollment management, compliance, technology, and improving student access. His previous roles include positions at the U.S. Department of Education, Chattahoochee Technical College, Morehouse College, and Norfolk State University. He holds degrees from Bryant & Stratton College, ECPI University, and Southern New Hampshire University.

Fall Tuition Waiver and Reimbursement Deadline
The fall tuition waiver and reimbursement deadline is Friday, August 1. Applications must be submitted to the Division of Human Resources via Workday. Visit the tuition waivers webpage for instructions. Contact hr@montclair.edu with any questions.
Group X Fitness Classes at the Student Recreation Center
Group X fitness classes have returned to the Student Recreation Center! Join us Monday through Thursday for energizing in-person Cycling and HIIT classes, or unwind with our 30-minute virtual Yoga sessions from the comfort of home. All employees of Montclair State University and Bloomfield College can access the Student Recreation Center for free through July 31, including full access to our Group X fitness classes.
Student Appreciation Week 2025
Register to participate in Montclair’s 4th Annual Student Appreciation Week! From October 6-10, Montclair and Bloomfields campuses will come alive with events and activities celebrating our amazing students. Last year included 87 events with more than 5,500 participants.
