A new degree program was just approved at MSU for students with a passion for mathematics and for teaching. The new degree consists of a B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Elementary Teaching and is housed in the College of Science and Mathematics. Upon completion of the degree students will have a mathematics degree and K-6 teacher certification. This is the first science or math degree program at MSU that also leads to elementary teaching certification and is expected to produce very strong graduates that want to teach. The degree program was developed as part of the Robert Noyce grant by Drs. Steven Greenstein, Erin Krupa, and Jennifer Robinson. Learn more about the Noyce program on our website!
