Kimberly Fabijanczuk, our student speaker, is a graduating Biochemistry major. Kimberly has developed a variety of enriched ties to the student community at Montclair State during her time here. She was a member of the rugby club team, a volunteer for our Relay for Life event, a member of the Child Advocates club, and currently the vice president of the Chemistry Club. Academically, she is part of the University’s Honors Program and a member of the Science Honors Innovation Program. Kimberly has spent her last three years in Dr. Jinshan Gao’s research group as an undergraduate research assistant studying biomolecule characterization employing free radical chemistry and mass spectrometry. She will be attending Purdue University in the Fall in pursuit of earning a PhD in Analytical Chemistry – of which Purdue is currently ranked as the #1 program for Analytical Chemistry.

Joseph served as director of government relations for the Saint Barnabas Health Care System. From 1967 to 1986, he was an educator at Vailsburg High School and Bloomfield High School, and an adjunct professor of accounting at County College of Morris for 12 years.

In 1988, Joseph was elected to the Livingston Township Council and served for three terms, and was elected mayor three times during his tenure.
