Math Students Awarded “Outstanding Poster” at National Meeting

The national meeting MathFest 2022, organized by the Mathematical Association of America, was held in Philadelphia on August 3-6, 2022. In the Undergraduate Student Poster Session, CSAM students Wiley Debs and Sarah Acquaviva each received “Outstanding Poster” Awards. 

Wiley’s poster is titled “Zero Divisor Graphs of Certain Matrices”, supervised by Dr. Aihua Li from the Department of Mathematics. His research is sponsored by a CSAM Summer Undergraduate Research grant. Sarah’s poster is titled “Spanning Trees of Random Cubic Graphs with Many Leaves”, supervised by Dr. Deepak Bal from the Department of Mathematics.
