Student Summer Research Symposium
A fun afternoon of learning from and recognizing our students

On Wednesday September 21 we welcomed faculty, staff, students and guests to CELS to get a glimpse into the work some of our students have been doing. Students that participated in the Summer Research Program got to showcase the results of their work with faculty during a poster session. More than 30 students participated in the session with representation for every department!
Throughout the event, guests could peruse tables staffed by various clubs, organizations and helpful offices to learn about ways to get involved and ways to advance their academic and professional careers. The event concluded with a ceremony recognizing our Spring 2022 Dean’s List students who received a certificate to commemorate their achievement. We look forward to making a tradition of events like this to help our students improve their presentation skills while helping others see how they can get more involved!
