In the 2025-2026 academic year alone, more than 180 CCOM students earned for-credit internships across media, entertainment, sports and strategic communications.
Students secured opportunities with leading companies and agencies like New Filmmakers, the Television Academy, JMG Public Relations, ESPN, ONNJ, Coyne Public Relations, Studio 71, Reagent Productions, Jomboy Media, Bolt Marketing, Litzky Public Relations and NBCU.

Our Partnerships
NBC 4 New York/WNBC and Telemundo 47/WNJU
Students benefit from special events with WNBC station executives, guest speakers in the classroom, internship opportunities and other programs. The participation of Telemundo 47/WNJU executives and journalists will also benefit students, which will support Montclair’s growing commitment to Spanish language reporting.
NBCU Academy
We’ve teamed up with NBCU Academy to get you career-ready. This innovative, multiplatform student journalism development program provides students with scholarships, training and enhanced course content. From scholarships and hands-on training to leveled-up classes, we’re giving you the tools to launch your dream career in media.

Through our partnership with Sony, we’ve installed the latest tech throughout the college. You’ll find pro-grade gear everywhere – from our theaters and TV studios to the classrooms, newsrooms, and even the public spaces.
